The ambassador of Turkey in Slovenia has served in 5 countries other than Turkey before becoming ambassador for the first time in Ljubjana, Slovenia.
Before becoming ambassador she served in West Berlin, Germany for 3 years as'vice consule' from 1987 to 1990, in Islamabad, Pakistan for 2 years between 1990 and 1992 as 'second secretary', in Kiev, Ukraine for 2 years as 'first secretary' between 1992 and 1994. She served in her hometown Ankara, Turkey for 2 years between 1994 and 1996. She then was posted to Washington DC, U.S.A for 4 years as 'counsellor' in 1996. She served in her hometown Ankara for another 5 years in 2000. She then moved to London, England for the first time not alone but with her husband and then 1.5 year old daughter for 4 years from 2005 to 2009, she again served in Ankara for another 3 years- 2009- 2012 then finally, she was titled ambassador of Turkey in Ljubljana, Slovenia in August 2012- since.
We have also asked her about what she does when she's not working."Well after me and my daughter finish our 'homework' during the week days, we switch on the TV, we briefly look at some of the shows and relax and then we go to sleep."
The most dangerous thing she has ever done was when she went horseriding in Pakistan with her friends, she was galloping really fast and a couple of branches with thornes were in her way, so she leaned backwards to avoid them, here's what she had to say about it "I was so scared, the branches were in my way and all my friends managed to turn around but I was ahead so I had to lean back. I was really lucky that I didn't bruise myself or fall of the horse."
She told us that she feels home in Slovenia, loves the winter and summer equally and could stay here in this beautiful country all her life.
